Made in MUNICH

Tech Entrepreneur 2013

Good things come to mind when considering Munich: Beer, Wurst ... and Innovation! White Bull and Bird & Bird, with local sponsor Cartagena Capital, and more than 130 Entrepreneurs, Investors, and Deal Makers gathered there at the swanky Wayra Academy Munich on June 27 for Tech Entrepreneur 2013. One guest might have summed it up best:

"There is no shortage of events to choose from ... but the quality here tonight was unparalleled."

Presenting firms were appropriately top-notch: Baimos, presented by Philipp Spangenberg; Shave-Lab, by Christopher von Hallwyl; Flow Works, by Oliver Meurer; Gini by Steffen Reitz; Bonayou, by Patrick Löffler; MIFLORA, by Stefan Pfannmöller; Crealytics by Andreas Reiffen; and OPINATOR, by Carlos Martinez.

Felix Haas was there to tell a very attentive crowd about his journey as founder of Amiando, and now at Felix Haas investments, setting the stage for the panel that followed on the Entrepreneurial climate in Germany.

Panelists were: Berthold von Freyberg of Target Partners; Tanja Kufner of Wayra Academy; Christian Thaler-Wolski of Wellington; Falk Mueller-Veerse of Cartagena Capital; Felix Haas; Stefan Pfannmöller of Venture Stars, and Stefan Muench of Bird & Bird.

As always, we topped it all off with networking, food and drink. The energy level was high and the vibe: undeniably positive, keeping the room bustling well past midnight.

A million Thanks to our Global sponsor, Bird & Bird for hosting; to local sponsor, Cartagena for their continued support; and to Wayra Academy Munich for the use of their fabulous space. We'll look forward to seeing all in Barcelona in October!
